Attention:  Dave Cook

Justa short note regarding our purchase of a box trailer from your company.

As you are aware we were interested in purchasing a 4 x 6 box trailer to be used as a prototype for transportation of electric scooters & wheelchairs for handicapped people.
You were recommended to us by Matt Krawczak of Haulmark Trailers in Indian.  We went down to your facilities in Nilestown and talked to you about our requirements.  We
found you very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful in the design and construction of this trailer.  We ordered the unit from you and received it in less than four weeks and built
to our specifications.

We would not hesitate to recommend you and your company to anyone that requires a trailer or service.  You did an excellent job in installing the required hitch on our vehicle
as well.

We have also sent an e-mail to Haulmark Trailers regarding our complete satisfaction with you and your company.

To The BBB Re: Intruder Trailers

I am writing this letter with the belief that it is just as important to acknowledge when a business does an exceptionally good job as when one does exceptionally poorly. The long and the short of it is, I have had one dealing with Intruder Trailers, and it could not have been better.

I am a purchaser that seeks to balance cost, quality, and practicality, and always do my best to research options and products, before deciding on a product, and then where to buy it. Earlier this year I was in the market for an enclosed utility trailer, and did a fair bit of research. After deciding on "Forest River" as the manufacturer of choice, and the options I wanted, I was off and running and able to accurately compare prices from several dealers, for the very same finished product.

After visiting local businesses, the internet, and making several calls I quickly learned that Intruder Trailers' quote was almost 20% less than locally, or elsewhere. As a low price is meaningless, if a business does not deliver, I followed up by visiting the BBB website. Intruder Trailers was listed on your website as one without any complaints. This was a good start, and enough for me to make the investment to drive 3 hours to the London area and see the business for myself.

Upon arriving, I was impressed by how organized the business was, and the number of trailers and other products on display. From the moment I entered I was provided with the highest standard of customer service possible - both by the owner Dave Cook and any of the other staff with which I came into contact. All of my questions were answered (and I had a list of them). Within a week I ordered the trailer from Intruder, with the custom specifications originally quoted.

After ordering Dave Cook double-checked with me, and the factory a couple of times, to ensure that my order was properly filled. The trailer arrived one week before I was told it would (which was well-received on this end), with all accessories installed precisely as requested, and at the exact price quoted. There were no surprises, no substitutions, no last minute add-on costs, and not a single disappointment - just excellent customer service, at a price no other dealer could touch.

I write this letter solely as a way of thanking Dave Cook, and his staff. I'm sure I don't need to tell the BBB how much simpler life would be if all businesses were able to consistently deliver customer service experiences like the one I had with Intruder Trailers.

Sincerely,

Brian Elo-Shepherd

I just wanted to express my appreciation for your
professional and quality service regarding my recent
trailer purchase. Dave is very knowledgeable and
steered me in the right direction on my trailer purchase.
Unfortunately Dave was the first dealer I spoke with
and after speaking with several dealers I had decided
on a different lower priced trailer than I originally
had spoken with Dave about. However his professionalism
and straight forward no "Bull shit" approach impressed
me and I called him at 9:30 yesterday morning to see if
he had a comparable trailer. His price was about $100
more but the intruder trailer had a one piece roof.
Now where his price really started to shine was in the
options. No charge for the inspection and the other
dealer wanted $125 for inspection and licence.
This means the other dealer was charging $90 for
the inspection.
I needed a brake controller installed and Dave
and the other dealer were the same price but the
other dealer wanted $130 to install it and with
Dave it was free. The other dealer wanted $20
for the 2 5/16 inch ball and Dave threw it in.
The best part was that I showed up, signed the
paperwork, Dave loaned me his truck to go and
get the licence and in 15 minutes after I got
back to the licencing bureau I was back on my
way to Ajax. Just over 1 hour elapsed from the
time I arrived at Intruder trailers to the time
that I left.
I was back home in my driveway in Ajax by 4:30
loading the Trailer.
WAY TO GO DAVE! Too bad other companies don't
have as good service.
